" We started with a 24' travel trailer from American RV 13 years ago. 4 RVs later we are currently in a 38' 3 slide out fifth wheel. My husband and I found the R-Pod travel trailer on the Forest River factory website and began looking for dealers in our area. Since we are new to RVing and had not purchased a camper before we made several phone calls and sent several e-mails to the closest dealers. American RV Center was two states away but the way we were treated via e-mail and phone was so far superior to the other contacts we made the decision to drive to Indiana and take a chance. We are so glad we did. Upon arrival we walked into a large beautiful showroom filled with RVs. A young lady greeted us and pointed us in the direction of the R-Pod trailers. The 177S model we were looking for was right there in the showroom in a campground setting. After a few minutes Chad introduced himself to us and began answering all of our questions. We basically went through every aspect of the camper from towing to setting it up to what to do when winter came around. When it came time to wheel and deal Chad was very nice and the first price he gave us was better than any of the other dealers had given us. We decided to take the camper and spent the night in Evansville so we could take delivery the next day. (Oh yeah, the Log Inn for dinner was amazing!)
The next afternoon we took delivery of the camper and a very nice gentleman named Steve took us through everything on the camper and helped us hook everything up to our SUV. We took a short drive to make sure everything was adjusted correctly and he adjusted our braking system too.
On our way home we stopped at Ren Lake and stayed in South Sandusky park for a couple of days. Everything worked perfect and the RV suits our needs great.
The entire purchase was a true joy. From the lady that met us at the door to Chad our salesperson to Steve that pampered us the day we picked it up.
